End of a very long day!!
The giant supermarket chain Tescos were asked to check that their suppliers offered : "a living wage, job security, freedom of association and of collective bargaining including, where available, the right to join a trade union of their choice" for all their staff!!
In reply Tescos said it was not their place to interfere in the day to day operations of suppliers……, funny as the same Tesco’s insist upon certain standards of treatment for the animals which end up as food in their stores. Just goes to show animals are better treated than humans.
Just makes you wonder!!
